Art Requirements

• Macintosh files are the preferred type.

Preferred File Format:

• All files save-as Illustrator Version CS2 (for MAC) or Illustrator EPS (prefer version 6-8). If it's a CS file, save-as: Legacy EPS. We are a MAC environment so any fonts sent, need to be converted to a MAC based font.

Accepted Storage Media:

• CD, Zip, 3 1/2" floppy

Preferred Programs:

• Freehand, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Express.

Fonts:

• The complete Adobe Library. Supply the screen & printer fonts as well.

Minimum Line Thickness:

• .05 Point.

Minimum Size Type:

• 3 point sans serif type for positive copy, 5 point sans serif type for reverse copy.

We will set all traps, bleeds and step & repeats.

Note:

• Always send a hard copy with any submitted file and all native files that apply to your specific job . ie : Links, Fonts, Photos, scans, tracking values when needed. If there is any doubt please include it!

• Currently all Illustrator pdf's, ps and prn files can be converted to editable files. Please make sure all pdf files are converted to curves/outlines and all images are embedded before saved.

• Photoshop files should always be converted to CMYK unless grayscale, monotone or duotone.

• If said files have layers please provide that as well!
